Football News

If reports are to be believed, Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante is set to sign for Chelsea this summer.

Kante, 25, is reportedly set to complete a £29.2 million switch to Stamford Bridge and there's every chance that he will prove to be one of the finest coups of the transfer window.

Indeed, the France international enjoyed a remarkable season last term and played a key role in helping Claudio Ranieri's side secure the Premier League title.

Leicester boss Ranieri has already admitted that he would 'understand' if Kante wanted to complete a move away from the King Power Stadium.

He stated, as per Sky Sports news: "He wanted to wait because he wanted to finish Euro 2016. Now I hear there is so much speculation behind him.

Ranieri reaction

"I don't want to lose him. I don't want to, but I could understand if he wants to go.

"At this point, I hope the team bring the maximum. I don't know about the money, I am not a manager, just a coach, so I don't speak about money. I say what I feel, I want him here."

But how has social media reacted to the news that Kante is set to join Antonio Conte's side?

Well, while Chelsea fans are obviously pleased, there has also been quite the reaction from Arsenal supporters.

The Gunners, of course, secured the signature of Granit Xhaka in this transfer window and have duly compared their signing with Kante.
