It’s always exciting when rumours of an NXT call-up are doing the rounds online, and with the WWE draft right around the corner, fans are certain that a couple of NXT stars will be making the move to the main roster on a full-time basis.
Finn Balor is a name that has been thrown around for several months now, regarding when he’ll move up and what association he’ll have with The Club.
ABSENT FROM TAPINGS
However, based on the recent NXT tapings that took place this week, his highly-anticipated call-up could take place as early as this coming Tuesday.

SmackDown finally goes live, and the draft also occurs on the same night, and we could see Balor appear on the show. If he doesn’t, then we should expect him within the next month.
This is because NXT taped four episodes this week which will air over the coming month leading into TakeOver: Brooklyn II, and according to RingSideNews.com, Balor wasn’t featured on any of them.
MAIN ROSTER BOUND?
This is the clearest indication yet that Balor is on his way to the main roster, and it makes sense as to why they were hyping up the battle between Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura earlier this week.
Nakamura won the match and will go on to challenge Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship, so while this match could be the swansong for Balor in NXT, he should be a fully-fledged member of the main roster in no time.
Balor has achieved everything possible on NXT, so the draft acts like the perfect time to make the jump.
