Michael Page pulls out Pokemon Go celebration after destroying opponent with flying KO

Michael Page is one of the most exciting up-and-coming fighters in all of British mixed martial arts. And he proved it last night.

Fighting on the Bellator 158 main card against Evangelista 'Cyborg' Santos, Page destroyed his opponent with a devastating flying knee that left Santos crumpled on the floor.

But that isn't what everyone is talking about. Instead, people went mad for MVP's celebration as he whipped out a Pokemon cap and rolled a Pokeball at Santos. Seriously.

After completely eviscerating Santos, 'Venom' went to his corner and was handed a cap and a Pokeball, which he rolled at his stricken opponent who was lying in agony, in an attempt to capture the Brazillian.

You can catch a video of the brutal KO here.

Of course, Page had no idea that Santos had suffered a depressed skull fracture and was put into emergency surgery just hours later. Thankfully, he didn't go in for any ground and pound after the knee or else it could've been even more damage to his opponent.

We know that Pokemon Go has been all the craze lately, but we never expected it to make its way into the octagon.

This is just yet another indication that Pokemon Go has taken over the world and will soon be our masters. I for one welcome our new Pokemon/Nintendo overlords.

Was Page's celebration completely disrespectful or just a bit of harmless fun? Have your say in the comments below...
