Tonight's match however was more of the same as the two put on a great match with Ambrose eventually coming out on top.

Ahead of tonight, Ambrose had never beaten Rollins in a one on one match, but that all changed tonight on on the first live episode of Smackdown.

The match started with a bang as Rollins attacked the champion before the bell had even rang but that was a s good as it got for the Architect.

In an almost exact duplicate from Monday night, Rollins went to the top rope and delivered a super plax to Ambrose before trying his traditional second suplex.

That was were it went wrong for Rollins however as Ambrose would get to his feet and counter the second suplex, turning it into Dirty Deeds.

Ambrose would then cover Rollins for the three count meaning that he remains the WWE Champion heading into the triple threat match this Sunday at Battleground.
