With cocky quotes and moments of brilliance, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is never too far from the news.

The Swedish striker may be on the back of an embarrassing Euro 2016 elimination and international retirement, but the 34-year-old is making the most out of his extended break nonetheless.

While the forward's new Manchester United team-mates prepare for the coming season in China, the Swede has been relaxing in Los Angeles. In typical Zlatan style however, Ibrahimovic has taken it further and been spotted with an odd assortment of stars.

Despite bowing out of Euro 2016 at the group stages, it was revealed that Ibrahimovic would miss United's pre-season tour of China.

It has since emerged that the 34-year-old has taken to the California coast in the meantime with David Beckham and Matt Le Blanc no less.

The unlikely trio can be seen in a bar together here:

Just why and how Ibrahimovic found himself in such a scenario is unknown, but when it comes to taking a break, it's clear he likes to do so in style.

The Beckham combination will certainly delight Red Devils fans though. Their blockbuster signing hanging with a club legend can only be a good thing even if the pair aren't shown as conversing in the picture.

As for the presence of Matt Le Blanc, best known as Joey from Friends, we're none the wiser.

This is far from the only piece of evidence that Ibrahimovic has been enjoying his time in the Golden State though. The ex-PSG forward posted a slow motion video of him freestyling on Venice Beach on his Instagram.

The impressive clip can be seen here:

It's fair to say Sweden's finest is savouring his west coast excursion.

Juggling on the beach and being snapped with Beckham certainly proves unorthodox, but this is Zlatan after all. Besides, the 34-year-old will get a first chance to train with his new teammates soon when the curtains close on their Chinese campaign.

If the performances of Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan can serve as any indication, Ibrahimovic is poised for an impressive tenure. However his career in England plays out though, they'll be no shortage of entertainment, arrogance and brilliance.
