Sadio Mane may not have been the huge name Liverpool fans were hoping to see arrive at Anfield this summer, but there's absolutely no reason why he won't become a leading player for the club over the coming years.

Mane, 24, has enjoyed a prominent couple of years at Southampton in the Premier League and should bring added pace, assists and goals to the Liverpool ranks.

Indeed, Mane is currently starring for Liverpool against Championship outfit Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium this evening.

Liverpool lead

Brazil international Philippe Coutinho could have doubled the lead but missed from the penalty spot.
