Luke Shaw made his long-awaited return to the pitch last Saturday as he started for Manchester United during their pre-season encounter with Championship outfit Wigan Athletic.
Shaw, 21, had been out of action for 305 days after breaking his leg in the Champions League against PSV Eindhoven on September 15 of last year.
It's fair to say, then, that he will be desperate to once again prove his credentials at Old Trafford this season.

However, on Wednesday evening a surprising report emerged from The Sun, who claimed that the left-back could be on his way out of the club.
Essentially, the report has suggested that the England international has put his future in doubt after placing his mansion in Cheshire up for sale for £2.6million.
The full-back only joined United in the summer of 2014 but, if you believe The Sun, he really could leave the club for pastures new.
As you can imagine, then, the United faithful have duly responded to the report on social media and, well, it hasn't gone down too well. Indeed, United fans have brilliantly trolled the report, claiming that it's a load of nonsense.

Shaw has his say
The ex-Southampton man is currently with the United media team in China as the club prepare for their second pre-season friendly against Borussia Dortmund on Friday.
And the defender has admitted that he thought he would never play football again but insists that he's feeling great and is now looking to get fully fit.
He stated, as per the Mirror: “It’s the best feeling ever. I thought I may never play football again.”
“I’m looking forward, not back. My leg feels great. I want to push on and get fully fit.”
And for those (if there are any of you) that were slightly worried about Shaw's future, he's also revealed that he's enjoying working under new manager Jose Mourinho. That's that, then.
He continued: “I’m enjoying working with him. We’re going to challenge for every title. It’s a fresh start & we’re feeling good.”
United fans will most definitely be hoping to see Shaw play a key role throughout the club's tour of China.
The Red Devils are set to take on German outfit Borussia Dortmund on Friday before battling it out with neighbours Manchester City on Monday.
