Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku go head-to-head on the basketball court

Paul Pogba's and Romelu Lukaku's respective futures are up for debate at the minute, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the duo, who are enjoying a break in Miami following their exploits at Euro 2016.

The France international, who - if reports are to be believed - is on the verge of joining Manchester United in a blockbuster deal, was pictured running in a full LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers uniform before taking off the jersey and going head-to-head with an equally shirtless Lukaku in an intense game of one-on-one.

In a video on Pogba's official Twitter account, the duo showed their power and tidy finishing at the rim, but it was the current Juventus man who stole the show as he swatted away an attempted Lukaku lay-up with a vicious block. He even showed a deft touch from behind the arc as he drained a three over the out-stretched arm of the Everton striker.

While Manchester United continue to chase their former academy product in what is believed to be a deal in excess of £90 million, the midfielder is clearly enjoying his post-international break. A video was posted on his Instagram page of the 23-year-old exiting a private jet - along with Lukaku - wearing a Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks jersey.

He was also pictured at the ESPY awards the day before and posted an image of himself with TNT's Craig Sager, who was presented with the Perseverance Award for his continued battle with Leukemia.

The French have a rich history in basketball and there is no doubt that Pogba will be cheering on his nation when the Olympic tournament tips off on August 6.

Led by Tony Parker and Boris Diaw, it has been 16 years since the country claimed a medal at the summer event, and they could certainly use some Pogba-inspired defence as they attempt to reach the podium.
