SmackDown LIVE was a special night for the WWE as it started the new era of the brand split, with Stephanie McMahon taking control of Monday Night Raw, and Shane McMahon controlling SmackDown LIVE.

Shane and Steph were joined by Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan respectively as they took part in the WWE Draft which saw the roster get divided into two.

It was a big night for the WWE as a company, and it was also a big night for Foley, who has posted a picture on his official Facebook page reflecting on a 'special' moment.

Foley will be the general manager of Monday Night Raw and one of his picks was 'The Boss' Sasha Banks, who will be joining up with Women's Champion Charlotte on the flagship show.

During a segment for WWE's Facebook page, Mick Foley cut a promo with Sasha Banks and also Becky Lynch, who was eventually drafted by Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon to rival show SmackDown LIVE.

Foley posted a picture of the three together backstage cutting the promo, and captured it 'THIS MAGIC MOMENT', along with a 166-word message praising the two superstars.

The WWE legend has been a very vocal supporter of both Banks and Lynch, and he confirmed in his post that despite it not feeling like a special promo for most people, it was a very special moment for himself and the two female wrestlers.

Foley continued to express his delight at getting the opportunity to work with Banks in the future during Monday Night Raw, and he admitted that he expects Becky Lynch to shine on SmackDown LIVE.
