WWE Battleground takes place this weekend and the rumour mill has already started, with it being reported that Seth Rollins is set to become the new WWE Champion.
According to Cageside Seats, Seth Rollins is to become a three-time WWE Champion this Sunday when he overcomes his former Shield brothers in a triple threat match.
The main event of Battleground sees the trio of Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns going against each other for the prestigious title, which has been a match nearly every WWE fan has wanted to see since their breakup in 2014.

The buildup for this main event has been heavily effected due to Reigns violating the WWE Wellness Policy, which has seem him off TV for the past month.
However, Rollins and Ambrose have done a good job carrying the feud, with the two going at it each week, either in a promo format or in a physical encounter.
The triple threat has become even more interesting following the WWE Draft which took place on SmackDown LIVE on Tuesday night.
As we saw, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan drafted Ambrose to their show, whilst Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley drafted both Rollins and Reigns to Monday Night Raw.
This means it is still undecided where the champion will be, but according to the rumour mill, it will be with Rollins on Raw.
It's believed Rollins will pin Ambrose for the win at Battleground, and then go into a long-running feud with Reigns, which could run up until SummerSlam, with the two going head-to-head for the belt at WWE's second biggest pay-per-view.
Of course this is just pure speculation as it stands, and we'll just have to wait and see on Sunday night who leaves Battleground as the WWE Champion.
