Jurgen Klopp has been pretty busy during his first pre-season at Liverpool having already completed six summer signings.

Loris Karius, Ragnar Klavan, Sadio Mane, Joel Matip, Alex Manninger and Georgina Wijnaldum have all arrived at Anfield and the German doesn’t seem to show any signs of stopping.

However, the former Borussia Dortmund boss admits that the Reds are only likely to make one more signing during this transfer window.

And, Liverpool fans know exactly who they want that one player to be.

Dutch left-back Jetro Willems may not be considered a high-profile name, but many Liverpool supporters have been pleading with him to join the club after he sent a good luck message to new signing Wijnaldum.

The PSV defender tweeted: “I wish you all the best at your new club my friend, we’ll see each other again soon! @GWijnaldum.”

Willems’ replies were full of Kopites pleading that he joined his compatriot on Merseyside. Check out some of the messages below:

Of course, current left-back Alberto Moreno divides opinion amongst fans and the club lack a decent alternative to the Spaniard. Therefore, signing Willems could prove to be a very decent acquisition indeed. Will Klopp listen to the fanbase?
