WWE Battleground takes place at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. tonight in what should prove to be an interesting evening of wrestling.

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are to do battle in a triple-threat match for the WWE Championship, while The Miz is defending his Intercontinental belt against Darren Young.

The likes of John Cena, the Wyatt Family, Rusev and others will be in action, and there could also be a main roster debut at WWE’s Battleground pay-per-view.

If you don’t like spoilers then look away now but it has been reported that diva Bayley is due to earn the step up from NXT tonight and become the mystery partner of Sasha Banks.

WWE fans have been wondering who Banks’ mystery partner would be once the angle was announced. It’s understood now that Bayley was always the candidate to come to the fore and it’s been reported that this is the reason she wasn’t drafted last week.

Banks had previously stated that Bayley was not going to join her and even claimed wrestling guru Dave Meltzer wouldn’t know who she would be teaming up with.

Bayley enjoyed an impressive career on the independent circuit under the name Davina Rose, before she went to NXT and became the Women’s Champion last year after defeating Banks. She eventually lost the title to Asuka which ended her eight-month reign.

It remains to be seen what happens this evening but would you like to see Bayley make her main roster debut tonight? Let us know below.
