With Brock Lesnar being penned in to face Randy Orton at WWE SummerSlam next month, fans were wondering what Lesnar's situation with the company was in regards to his failed drug tests.

Well, now it has been confirmed, with the WWE today saying that the former World Heavyweight Champion will be facing zero consequences.

That's right. The man who failed two USADA drug tests and looks set to be suspended for two years by the UFC is getting away with it completely scot-free in the WWE. And their reasoning is ridiculous.

TMZ first reported that Lesnar wasn't on the hook for any sort of punishment from WWE as a result of the positive drug tests from June 28 and July 9 because of his status within the company.

Fox Sports then followed it up by getting a statement from the WWE which claimed that, because of Lesnar's part-time contract, he isn't under the Talent Wellness policy.

"WWE's talent wellness program does not apply to part-time performers such as Brock Lesnar," WWE officials wrote in a statement to FOX Sports.

"Additionally, officials stated that WWE is 'show business' and their talent wellness program isn't in place to ensure the integrity of athletic competition but rather for the health of full time performers," their report also stated.

As you can probably imagine, WWE fans were absolutely furious with the disgusting double standards being shown by the company.

The WWE have a lot to answer for after this revelation. This explanation won't help anyone and has basically confirmed that there is a two-tier system. Vince McMahon and co. have a lot to answer for.
