They may not be the Dream Team or the Redeem Team, but the 2016 Team USA roster is stacked full of talent and they seem to have developed a togetherness that has evaded teams in the past.

Not much can be read into their showcase victories against China and Argentina, but the team are looking incredibly strong heading towards Rio de Janeiro. They have won their three games so far by an average of 45 points and face Venezuela tonight in what is expected to be another routine win.

The duo of Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant are deemed the experienced pair in a roster that is missing the likes of LeBron James, Chris Paul and Stephen Curry and the two previous gold medal winners are leading by example.

In a behind the scenes video that is going around on YouTube, you can get a feel for the atmosphere inside the camp and it seems all the players are enjoying the chance to represent their nation and add a gold medal to their collection.

Anthony, in particular, seems extremely hyped and during a five-on-five scrimmage in Las Vegas, the forward was up to his old tricks as he continued to cuss his teammates. Watch the video here.

Heading up for a rebound with Durant, who was on his team, Anthony grabbed the ball away from the new Golden State Warriors star as shouted 'get the f*** out of here'.

It's all in good fun, but some things never die and that competitive fire in Carmelo still burns bright despite his struggles with the New York Knicks. Those problems in the NBA have clearly motivated the former Denver man to claim success with his country.

Kyrie Irving also seems to be enjoying himself after a fantastic season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. An Olympic gold medal would be the perfect way for his to end the season.
