It was revealed last night that Booker T would be missing Monday Night Raw after spending some time in hospital over the weekend.

Another WWE employee was missing from RAW as well. However, this one is much, much more permanent.

WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia took to her official Instagram account yesterday to reveal that she is leaving WWE to care for her ill father.

Garcia has missed time from the WWE already this year to visit her father, who is battling cancer, but she has now decided to leave the WWE to be with him more.

"As most of you know, my father has been battling with two different types of cancer. He hasn’t been doing as well as we hoped, THEREFORE, I will not be traveling weekly with WWE any longer," she started off as saying in the Instagram post.

Garcia then went on to thank the WWE fans and superstars for making her time in the company so enjoyable.

"It has been a magical 15-year career at WWE, and WWE Universe, I can't thank you enough for all your love and support! I felt you every step of the way!"

"I also want to thank the amazing WWE Superstars, whom many of them have become my friends! You are an incredible group of people with SO much talent! It has been such an honor to introduce you to the ring and watch your superior athleticism week after week," she added.

Finally, Garcia closed by thanking the WWE for giving her an opportunity and letting her work with them for 15 years.

"Lastly, thank you WWE for this incredible ride that I never wanted to get off," she said. "I've had experiences beyond my imagination. I thank you for not only allowing me to use my voice as an announcer but also sharing it to sing around the world."

"What an honor! I will cherish the memories forever."
