The investigation and the arrest means Saada's involvements at the Olympic Games are now a major doubt.

Brazilian media reports quoted police officials as saying Saada pushed one of the maids up against a wall, before 'pressing her with his thighs', and trying to kiss her.

He has also been accused of 'squeezing her breast' and making obscene hand gestures.

As of yet, there has been no comments made by Saada himself or the Moroccan Olympic officials.

The 2016 Olympic Games officially begin this evening as the opening ceremony takes centre stage, but with all the scandals looming over the event, the build up has been overshadowed.

With the Russian doping scandal, the Zika virus, and the protests taking place by the Brazilian police, many people have been fearful heading into the summer Games.
