First match confirmed for WrestleMania 33

WrestleMania 32 was a few months ago and, unfortunately, it was an incredibly disappointing show for the millions of WWE fans who tuned into the big event.

Nobody cared at all about Roman Reigns vs Triple H for the WWE Championship with a majority booing Reigns as he won, while Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar had the worst hardcore match in history and Shane McMahon vs The Undertaker failed to live up to the hype.

The WWE will need to do much better to get fans excited for WrestleMania 33 and it seems they are starting early, with one match already being announced.

We reported last month that The Big Show and Shaquille O'Neal were speaking publically at the ESPYS about the prospect of having a match at WM 33 in Orlando.

Speaking in a recent interview, Big Show seems to have confirmed that it is indeed going ahead.

"We'll have one heck of a match and we'll see what's up. We'll give the fans a treat," Show said, according to Shanghai Daily.

So there you have it. One match has pretty much already been confirmed for WrestleMania. Now we only have to wait about seven months for the match.

Big Show went on to add that retirement is looking more and more likely.

"I've had a 21-year career. I'm looking forward to retirement actually. It'd be nice to actually see my family. I've earned my limited schedule and now it's the twilight for me. I get to do media, talk to fans, and tour the world and go out with a nice casual wave goodbye; and I'm happy with that."
