Luis Suarez isn’t a fan of Roberto Firmino’s new haircut

The ‘man bun’ has been all the rage at Liverpool this summer, with Alberto Moreno and Roberto Firmino both sporting the highly questionable haircut.

The style, by which men tie their hair into a single bun, has, rather regrettably, become a staple among trendy males and hipsters alike.

Quite how Jurgen Klopp has allowed Moreno and Firmino to enter the Liverpool dressing room with the look is beyond us.

But, if it helps then perform on the pitch, then Klopp will let them dye their hair pink for all that he cares.

And, on early evidence, the haircut has inspired something of an upturn in form, with both featuring in Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Barcelona on Saturday.

The Reds stormed to victory at Wembley, humbling the Spanish champions with a breathtaking display of attacking flamboyance and defensive resilience.

What made the win all the more sweeter was that Luis Suarez was on the receiving end of it.

The Uruguayan left Anfield for the Camp Nou in 2014 and, though supporters still hold him in high regard - he received a standing ovation when he was subbed off - getting one over their former idol must have been pleasing for Liverpool fans.

Suarez is friends with many of those he came up against today but someone he didn’t play alongside at Liverpool is Firmino, who joined last year.

Still, that didn’t prevent him from taking the mickey out of the Brazilian when he spotted his man bun prior to kick-off. Check out Suarez’s hilarious reaction below.

Maybe Firmino will finally realise that the look is doing him no favours.
