WrestleMania 33 was the reason Triple H never got drafted

The WWE is finally settling into it's new landscape following the draft and dramatic changes made to the RAW and Smackdown rosters.

The draft saw many big changes made, but after finding out the fates of stars like Finn Balor, AJ Styles and Seth Rollins, there were still questions over one big name.

Return of the Game?

Arguably the biggest name who never got drafted - despite what Heath Slater says, is the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H.

The part time performer and former leader of the Authority wasn't designated to either show which led to many questioning if his in ring days are done?

It now appears that the reason for Raw and Smackdown overlooking the Game, is all because of WrestleMania 33.

The grand spectacle that will take place in Orlando, Florida next year is set to host a match featuring the Game.

However Triple H's opponent for that show has not been decided yet and as a result, the company didn't want to assign him to the wrong show.

It is however believed that he could be taking on an up and comer at the biggest event of 2017 - a theory that would bring stars like Balor or anyone currently on NXT into question.

There is currently no announced return date for Triple H but if he is to be in action at WrestleMania, could that mean that he will be absent until early 2017?
