Being a TV presenter can always put you in uncomfortable situations, and sadly for the BBC, one of their presenters was put in one last night.

No, we're not talking about Gary Lineker hosting Match of the Day in his underpants, which looked a lot more like shorts anyway, we are talking about the moment Dan Walker was interrupted by a Brazilian hen-do during the BBC's live Olympic coverage.

As normal, Walker was presenting live from the beach with his BBC crew, but whilst being on air, he was disrupted by incoming noise from a group of girls.

After commentating briefly on what was happening and looking less than impressed, Walker then chose to invite the bride of the party into the cornered off area and then began to interview her.

Walker and the bride-to-be then began chatting about the upcoming wedding before she sent a message to her soon-to-be husband.

The BBC presenter briefly apologised to the viewers who were expecting to tune in to watch the weightlifting, but he then carried on speaking to the Brazilian lady before eventually cutting off the interview and sending her on her way.

To round up the interview, the bride-to-be revealed her love for the football team Fluminense, before Walker joked around by saying he preferred Flamengo, which was met by a negative response.

It was certainly a night to remember for Dan Walker and it was an occasion that meant he had to be at his presenting best, otherwise things could have gone a lot worse for him.
