Is there anyone in the wrestling business today, or any day, that has seen it all the way Ric Flair has seen it all?
We sincerely doubt it. The record 16-time word champion had a 40-year in-ring career and he only stepped away from his daughter Charlotte's side as a manager earlier this year.
The Nature Boy was around during the inaugural draft back in 2002 and was actually the general manager for Raw at the time. Of course, Flair went on to align himself with Triple H and form Evolution to continue his in-ring career, but he still played a big part in the first ever draft in WWE history.

In an interview with Fansided, the 67-year-old revealed his thoughts on the latest draft in the WWE and what it means for the business.
"Well when it happened the very first time, it captured the imagination of the viewers," Flair recalled. "The fact that Smackdown is going live, it was needed to create that shuffle. Now you have two competitive products under one umbrella. Now don’t think they aren’t going to be digging. I love the new sets and everything that is part of this new era.
"Vince McMahon is a genius and innovative as hell. He has a daughter and a son-in-law who will carry that flag, until somebody shoots it down. Trust me, the work ethic they have is simply amazing."
It's no surprise that Flair is complimentary of Vince McMahon and indeed, his son-in-law and Flair's close friend, Triple H.
However, he also makes good points. It was a necessary step to facilitate Smackdown going live and the shuffle is something the fans have been pining for one way or another for a long time.
