Eva Marie speaks out after WWE suspension

The WWE have been very busy this past week, suspending three of their superstars for failing the talent wellness policy.

Alberto Del Rio, Paige, and Eva Marie all felt the wrath of the WWE's testing policy in a span of 48 hours that saw all three of them handed 30-day suspensions and had their credibility reduced to tatters.

Well, it seems like Eva Marie isn't going down easy, and is putting up some sort of fight.

According to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Eva actually sent them a statement saying that the only reason she was suspended was because of a minor technicality.

“I am disappointed that this suspension has occurred, yet understand and respect that WWE upholds their Wellness Policy to the letter and won’t compromise on its integrity.”

According to Eva, her only real crime is not filling in some paperwork quick enough.

“I violated policy by not turning in portions of required paperwork in the time frame WWE Medical deemed timely. I look forward to my return! Thank you for your support," she added.

It will be interesting to see if this speaking out from Eva will hurt her chances when she does come back from suspension.

The WWE are not fond of their stars going out in public to discuss such matters. But, when stars mess up like Eva has with paperwork, they will be much more lenient compared to Paige or Del Rio, who apparently were found with substances in their system.
