Evra tests out hamstring

Manchester United defender Patrice Evra was doing some light jogging on Monday to test out his hamstring injury ahead of Tuesday's Champions League match against Celtic.

The France international was forced out of Saturday's win over West Brom after aggravating the problem in the first half at Old Trafford.

Sir Alex Ferguson would hope Evra is fit and will give him every chance but John O'Shea stands by if the United boss deems it is too much of a risk to play the former Monaco full-back.

With both Michael Carrick and Owen Hargreaves still missing, Ferguson will stick with the squad that recorded a fifth straight win against West Brom.

There was some positive news on Monday morning as Rodrigo Possebon was able to train only a month after suffering what was originally feared to be a broken leg in the Carling Cup tie against Middlesbrough.
