Exeter boss Paul Tisdale has agreed a new two-year rolling contract with the club to replace his former one-year rolling deal agreement.

The 35-year-old guided City to successive Blue Square Premier play-off finals at Wembley, resulting in promotion to League Two in the summer.

The Grecians are currently on a five-match unbeaten run and seventh in League Two ahead of Tuesday's match at Port Vale.

Tisdale told the Western Morning News: "I have had over two years at the club now.

"I don't readily look to jump about. I have long term thoughts in my mind, so this makes it a little bit more long term because, at any one time, I still have two years ahead of me.

"I think it is a really exciting time for the football club - and I want to be here."
