In fact, in his post-match press conference, he clearly didn't appreciate being asked numerous questions about potential signings.
Brilliant response
The Frenchman understandably wanted to focus on the performances of the players he already has instead of speculating about a possible move for Shkodran Mustafi.

The young defender was impressive as Arsenal kept a clean sheet against the champions, keeping out two players who themselves turned down moves to the Emirates in Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.
Fans demand signings
Still, that hasn't been enough to placate fans and the media alike who are baying for new signings.
Arsenal could now find it hugely difficult to compete in a season when Manchester United and Manchester City have both spent in excess of £100million to bolster their squads.
Wenger may have batted away the question brilliantly, but he will be more aware than anyone that his job could be on the line if his side are made to pay for their quiet summer.
