Andre Gomes crashes into Luis Suarez's car

Barcelona may have romped home in their first La Liga game of the season against Real Betis on Saturday but Luis Enrique would have still spotted a few areas of improvement from his team's 6-2 victory.

And if he has seen one particular video which has emerged over the last 24 hours, communication might be something he takes a look at.

Fortunately for Enrique, it isn't an incident which took place on the pitch but in fact, after the team trained on Saturday evening.

Andre Gomes is yet to make his full debut since moving for £41.7 million from Valencia and as the video below shows, he is still getting familiar with his new teammates.

Spanish television station Cuatro captured a slightly embarrassing moment as Gomes and co. were leaving Barca's Ciutat Esportiva training ground.

Striker Luis Suarez is filmed exiting the complex, closely followed by the recent signing Gomes.

Whether the Portuguese international wasn't paying any attention, did it on purpose or simply didn't brake hard enough is not clear but he was unable to avoid bumping into the back of Suarez's car.

Surprisingly, unlike many of his previous on-pitch antics, Suarez kept going despite the contact. Then again, there was no referee to try and persuade on this occasion so he was probably just saving his complaints for when the season got underway the following day.

Fortunately, it would appear that both vehicles involved came through the incident unscathed and Gomes was spotted cheekily smiling as he continued to follow the Uruguayan towards the exit.

It comes just over a week after Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech crashed his £85,000 Audi in the car park at the Emirates Stadium following the Gunners' 4-3 defeat to Liverpool.

Images showed that Cech had clearly been involved in something a lot more serious than Gomes' brief tap on Suarez but just serves as a reminder that footballers are notoriously dodgy drivers.
