If you find yourself spending too long watching random videos on YouTube, chances are you will have stumbled across at least one ‘Illuminati’ conspiracy video at some point.

Some people genuinely believe that a group of people - particularly those in positions of power, high-profile sportsmen and women, actors and actresses, and musicians - control pretty much the rest of the world.

And despite belonging to this secret society, those involved in the Illuminati apparently like to drop clues on a fairly regular basis - we’re not sure why - most of which seem to involve hand gestures.

Usain Bolt is apparently one of those high-profile athletes who is a secret member of the Illuminati - at least, that’s according to a YouTuber by the name of ‘The Vigilant Christian’.

The American claims that Bolt uses Masonic hand symbols when he’s competing on the world stage, per the Mirror, as well as wearing jewellery which indicates he belongs to the group.

Has Bolt been giving away clues?

Bolt, according to the conspiracy theorist, also displays a ‘symbol of silence’ quite often - and this is apparently a hand gesture that is synonymous with the FreeMasons.

It’s also suggested that the Jamaican used the ‘666’ hand signal - the devil’s number, supposedly - while placing the gesture of his eye.

As soon as somebody places their hand over their eye, that’s pretty much confirmation that the star in question is a full-blown member of the Illuminati, according to the conspiracy theorist.

"The guy's name is Bolt. OK? Lightning bolt,” The Vigilant Christian comments. "And Jesus said that he saw Satan fall to earth 'like lightning'. The subliminal messaging is too overwhelming to believe this is all coincidence."

The suggestion appears to be that the Illuminati helps individuals to achieve worldwide fame and get rich beyond their wildest dreams - but would Bolt not have got all that without the Illuminati’s help?

The 30-year-old, who won three more gold medals at Rio 2016, is the fastest man in history thanks to his genetics and the hard work he’s put in over the years.
