Isco shows off in Real Madrid training with brilliant flick

Just in case you were in any doubt whatsoever, Isco has reminded us just how good he is by scoring an exquisite flick in Real Madrid training.

At the Bernabeu, it is very easy to go under the radar in a team that consists of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and now also Alvaro Morata.

And although Isco hasn't always been an automatic starter since moving from Malaga in 2013, he must be one of Los Blancos' most underrated players in the current squad.

He came on to play just the last quarter of an hour in Madrid's opening game of the season against Real Sociedad, by which point they were already two goals ahead and had all-but secured the three points.

However, Isco showed that his confidence has not been affected by being snubbed for the first game with a very skilful finish he posted on Instagram.

Playing in a very small-sided game, the Spanish international called the ball to be thrown to him from the goalkeeper.

It arrived at an uncomfortable height but rather than attempt to control it with his chest or find a teammate with a header, Isco went for goal.

He chose to lift his right leg up and throw his heel towards the ball. Unlike many supporters who will probably attempt to replicate it over the next few days, he connected perfectly and the result was a stunning flick that left the opposing keeper no chance.

Sergio Ramos posted his best goal from the training drill too and it is also mightily impressive.

With his back to goal, the centre-back flicked the ball and unleashed a fierce volley into the top corner.

Spirits in the Madrid camp are clearly high after starting the campaign with a win.

Their next test will be a home tie against Celta Vigo on Saturday and as last season showed, they cannot afford to give Barcelona even the slenderest of leads at this stage if they are going to mount a serious title challenge.
