Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United have been drawn to face Northampton Town in the third round of the League Cup.

The Red Devils take on the League One outfit, who defeated Premier League side West Brom in the second round.

Meanwhile, Manchester City, the reigning League Cup champions, face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium. (For the full third round draw, scroll down this page).

Liverpool, who defeated Burton Albion 5-0 on Tuesday night, play Derby County away.

Arsenal go head-to-head with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground while Chelsea play Leicester City in arguably the tie of the round.

Man City are the current favourites to win this season’s League Cup, followed by United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Tottenham, who play Gillingham, are the sixth favourites to lift the trophy followed by Leicester City, who take on Antonio Conte's men.
