Sometimes a major dip in form can be demoralising and players can take their time to get back to their best. But that has not been the case for Eden Hazard so far this season.
In fact, his start to the 2016/17 campaign is incomparable with last term, in every sense. The 25-year-old's confidence has returned and it took him just 47 minutes into the new season to find the back of the net, in Chelsea's 2-1 opening day home win against West Ham.
Chelsea's major collapse last campaign was not only unexpected, but has, so far, been left unanswered. Not that Blues fans are concerned any longer, with Antonio Conte having made a comfortable start to life in England, as it stands.

However, while the Italian may still be bedding in, Chelsea fans believe they may have been given a reason as to why the west Londoners may well go onto lift the title in Conte's debut campaign in the Premier League.
The last time Hazard was in red-hot form, he picked up the PFA Player of the Year award and helped Chelsea to the title. So it's no wonder that his ninth-minute goal, at home to Burnley, has Blues fans dreaming that this year could be their year. Although Manchester City and United may have something to say about that.
For now, though, Chelsea fans will simply be delighted that their winger has managed to shut out the negativity of last season and re-found the shooting boots that saw him score 14 times as the Blues won the league.
Picking up the ball in his own half, the Belgian surged forward before cutting in onto his right foot and unleashing a low, but unstoppable, shot that Tom Heaton could only watch pass him by, into the back of the net.
Whatever Conte said or did with Hazard this summer, it has certainly worked.
