Paul Pogba trolled for an awful 40-yard shot

When you become the world’s most expensive player for £89 million, the world will be watching your every move.

That’s the case for Paul Pogba at Manchester United.

The Frenchman made his debut at Old Trafford last Friday against Southampton and his every touch was analysed. That included his first touch which was followed by an air-kick as he attempted to play a simple pass. Oh dear.

But exactly the same sort of thing happened during his second match against Hull City.

While every good thing he does is compiled into a YouTube video, every bad thing is often overlooked. Apart from the couple of eagle-eyed people that post such things on social media.

It was just a couple of minutes into United’s clash against Hull when Pogba decided to attempt a score from about 40-yards out. His attempt was pretty atrocious and rolled harmlessly wide.

Take a look at the rubbish shot below:

If it had been Zlatan Ibrahimovic - who has made a terrific start to his United career - the shot may have been brushed under the carpet.

But with an £89 million price-tag, Pogba is never going to be let off lightly. Check out the hilarious reaction below:

The reaction

Pogba and his teammates haven’t been able to impose themselves on Hull as was expected during the Saturday evening fixture.

The two sides went in at the break all level at 0-0 and supporters of the Red Devils will hope to see some better attempts from the record signing in the second-half.
