Manchester United fan apparently breaks his leg during celebrations

The Manchester United fans travelling to Hull were probably expecting a fairly comfortable three points.

What they probably wouldn’t have expected was to have to wait until the 92nd minute for the breakthrough.

But that was the case at the KCOM Stadium as Jose Mourinho’s struggled to break down a stubborn Hull defence until Marcus Rashford popped up with a last-gasp winner.

When Rashford converted Rooney’s low cross to win the three points, everyone went mental.

The away fans were delirious with many of them invading the pitch - not something you’d expect to happen after a narrow victory over Hull.

But who could blame the supporters? They had just seen their side continue their 100% record and go joint-top of the Premier League alongside Chelsea.

But there was one fan that appeared to take it a step too far.

That’s because it’s claimed that one Red Devil celebrated so exuberantly that he broke his leg. There is an image currently doing the rounds on social media showing a man being carried away by paramedics after suffering a serious injury.

How does he explain that one to the wife when he gets home?

That one fan probably won’t care too much about his broken leg when he remembers that his side have won all three of the league matches this season.

He will now have two weeks to recover over the international period before United’s next match - the small matter of the Manchester derby at Old Trafford. No doubt he will already be seeking some crutches ahead of the clash at the Theatre of Dreams.
