Tonight saw RAW finally crown a new Universal Champion after their previous efforts at SummerSlam were unfortunately retracted.
Finn Balor won the championship eight days ago but had to hand the belt back following the news that he had suffered a long term shoulder injury during his match at SummerSlam.

The match would prove to be one of the most controversial of the year following a dramatic conclusion.
A truly new champion was crowned as Kevin Owens emerged victorious to win the Universal Championship.
The win came with a huge assist by Triple H who returned to RAW for the first time since before WrestleMania 32.
The Game had a huge hand in the eliminations of both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins as he turned on the man he hand picked over two years ago.
The fans in attendance went crazy when he attacked Rollins and everyone was left shocked by what we saw unfold in the ring.
After the match, Owens raised the title to a chorus of chants from the fans exclaiming: "You deserve this" showing that the decision was clearly welcomed.
After RAW went off the air, Rollins was clearly left irate by the conclusion of the match and even confronted the watching Stephanie McMahon about the actions of her husband.
So begins the age of KO and the New Era in WWE seems to be in full swing with a brand new main event champion created.
