Mexico's greatest export was hired back last year and made his return match at Hell in a Cell where he defeated John Cena for the United States Championship.

Since then he was a member of the largely sub- par faction the League of Nations before losing his title in a feud with Kalisto.

Del Rio hasn't been seen for sometime as he is currently serving a 30 day suspension for violating the company's wellness policy.

He along with current partner Paige were issued matching suspensions on the same day but it now appears that Del Rio has had enough of working with WWE.

He has been frustrated with the company for sometime after being given promises of a main event push that never came.

His last in- ring appearance on WWE TV was on the August 19th episode of Smackdown Live where he took on John Cena.

Del Rio is now free to work in Mexico and abroad immediately but must wait until the end of September to become eligible to work in America again.
