At WrestleMania 31 the fans were treated to an incredible moment during the match between Triple H and Sting, as D-Generation X interfered to help The Game, while the nWo interrupted to help The Icon.

So it was a unique, nostalgic moment to see the likes of Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall and many more get involved. It added more to the experience, which was effectively the final nail in the WCW coffin as a WWE star triumphed.

However, on Sean Waltman’s podcast, Hall has said that WrestleMania 33 may have another reunion, this time, it will feature the original members of The Kliq, and Shawn Michaels is the man behind the idea.

He said that the original idea from Michaels was that he would bring in Kevin Nash, Hall and Eric Bischoff for the WWE at WrestleMania 33 next year before Waltman pointed out that he already has other commitments during WrestleMania weekend, and that the plans including Hogan had also changed.

He said: “The last time I talked to Kevin, he said ‘No I heard from somebody, who won’t be named, let’s make it a Kliq thing’.

“So then the whole Kliq would be involved, and if one dude can’t make it they’re gonna drop a giant screen down, and they’re gonna beam it in, him doing stuff.”

Hall also talked about the most famous incident involving the Kliq, when Nash and Hall signed new deals to join WCW and on the final night in the WWE, the group including Michaels and Triple shared one last hug in the centre of the ring.

Hall claimed that Vince McMahon knew it was going to happen and while Hall and Nash left the company, Michaels was still pushed as a main event star and Triple H was punished, as his push was given to Stone Cold Steve Austin instead.

He said: “Vince knew it was going to happen. I was talking to Vince when Shawn came in and said, hey blah blah blah and he went, is it important to you, and he said yes. And he said, OK make it happen. He said, I want Razor to come out, and I’m sitting right there.”

Right now, there’s no word on how the Kliq could play a role at WrestleMania 33, especially with Michaels involved, but whatever it is, it’ll have fans excited for it.
