Dean Ambrose has gotten so boring in the WWE

The curious case of Dean Ambrose is one that certainly needs looking at.

How does someone go from being a deathmatch wrestler who would make himself bleed every day of the week, to the WWE World Champion and face of SmackDown Live?

It's an incredible feat and one that certainly needs celebrating, but Ambrose has recently gotten so stale in his new role - and it is a real shame.

The Lunatic Fringe has gotten a lot less lunatic-like, which is almost certainly a direct order from the top in the WWE who want their champions to be classy rather than sticking to the gimmicks that got them over.

Ambrose has become stale. Somehow the WWE have turned him into a boring champion. That is something I never thought I would say, Dean Ambrose has becoming boring.

Ambrose undoubtedly has the worst move set in the entire WWE, barring his finisher. Nothing he does in the ring is interesting.

It has gotten to the point that I would genuinely much rather have AJ Styles beat him at Backlash later this month to become the new WWE Champion.

Styles actually does exciting stuff in the ring and he is interesting on the mic. Everything that Ambrose isn't right now.

Ambrose needs to make a change to reinvent something about himself. Maybe that will start with dropping the title.
