Football News

LeBron James is one of the few household names in basketball whose every little move is cause for media attention.

However, his latest social media activity is well worth getting excited about.

King James loves a workout, just about everybody knows that. The three-time NBA champion often hits the gym with his 'super friends' Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and, particularly, his old Miami Heat teammate Dwyane Wade.

Have your say on GiveMeSport - NBA by taking part in our survey here:

The fact that a physical specimen and special athlete like James is back in the gym again is hardly groundbreaking, but the fact that he is training with A-list actor Mark Wahlberg certainly is interesting.

James posted on Instagram a photo of the duo working out together and accompanied the pic with the following caption:

"Wit this great dude! Coming soon!! #WeWorking #StriveForGreatness #CameraReady #ByTheWayTrulyAppreciateTheGift"

What's coming soon? What was the gift? So many questions, LeBron. He certainly intimates that the pair will be working together soon, could James be set to continue his flirt with Hollywood?

It's certainly more likely than Wahlberg joining the Cavaliers. Then again, they still haven't re-signed JR Smith...

The natural thought process would be to assume that Wahlberg may star in the upcoming Space Jam 2 movie of which LeBron is heavily slated to play the leading role.

The Boston-native actor also has his fingers in a lot of pies in television and he is an executive producer for the Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson HBO show 'Ballers' - could James have a cameo in that?
