The eyes of the world were on Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola as the two managers met before the Manchester derby.

Would they shake hands? Would they embrace? Would they ignore each other?

Based on comments they made in their pre-match press conferences, a handshake - at least - seemed the most likely outcome.

There was, indeed, a handshake - Mourinho waited for Guardiola on the touchline - followed by a surprise embrace.
