WWE officials have been advising employees in their web department to stop advertising Charlotte vs Sasha Banks for the Women's Championship at Clash of Champions.

The Monday Night Raw pay-per-view is set for September 25 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, and it had looked like all the title matches were set in stone.

Kevin Owens will defend his Universal Championship against Seth Rollins, The New Day will defend the Tag Team titles against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, whilst it's rumoured that Rusev will defend his United States Championship against Roman Reigns.

It also looked liked Charlotte would defend her Women's Championship against the returning Banks, but according to WrestleZone, who are sourcing F4WOnline.com, WWE officials have urged their web department to stop advertising that match, hinting that a change could be coming.

Banks returned to Raw the past week to deliver some 'bad news', but that news was only bad for one person, Charlotte, and that's because 'The Boss' confirmed she'd be returning at Clash of Champions to compete for the Women's Championship.

However, WWE have now started instructing their web department to stop promoting the match, despite there not being any official reason behind the decision.

In addition to that, staff have also been told that if there are any existing stories with any mention of the match, it should be amended.

Although it's currently unclear why WWE have instructed this to their web department, it does raise speculation surrounding the match.

Early predictions could be that the singles match turns into a triple threat match, with Bayley being included after her pinfall victory against Charlotte on Raw.
