Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem headline UFC 203 tonight in Cleveland, Ohio, but there has been plenty of shenanigans even before any fighter has stepped into the octagon.

CM Punk has been attracting a lot of attention in the buildup to this event as the former WWE champion is set for his first UFC fight, two years after signing with the company.

The 37-year-old fights Mickey Gall on the main card and he refused to shake his hand at the official weigh-in on Friday.

Gall isn't the only man who didn't enjoy the weigh-in. Overeem, the challenger for the UFC heavyweight title, missed the deadline for weighing in and has been fined as a result.

It's not quite the £25,000 that Jose Mourinho routinely incurs for a slip of the tongue, but the Ohio Athletic Commission fined Overeem, who was born in Egland, $500.

That's pocket change to a main event man like Overeem and he will careful to ensure that this lapsed preparations don't carry over to his title shot tonight.

Miocic weighed 246 pounds for the first defense of his title since defeating Fabricio Werdum - who is also on he card - at UFC 198. Overeem was not much heavier at 248.5, and both men are the exact same height at 6'4".

A lot of eyes will be on Punk's MMA debut, but this heavyweight clash is sure to be a fiesty one with plenty of striking with bad intentions.

Should Miocic and Overeem win the UFC 'Fight of the Night' bonus, we're sure the challenger will forget his $500 in no time.
