The great thing about the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is that everybody likes to pay their respects to the legends of the game.

You can always count on a great quote when some of the game's greatest are being honoured. On this occasion, it comes from one of the legends being enshrined about another.

Shaquille O'Neal had a terrific career that contained four NBA championships and he played with the likes of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade throughout his special time on the hardwood.

However, which player does he wish he could have played with? Well, if he had to pick one, it would be fellow 2016 Hall of Fame inductee, Allen Iverson.

"If there was one guy I would have liked to played with, it definitely would have been A.I.," O'Neal said last Friday.

Shaq had a terrific relationship with another guard in Bryant, but there is little denying that The Big Aristotle and The Answer would have been a dream pairing for the ages.

The handles, the power, the strength, the agility - they would have had everything.

Unfortunately, the duo was never meant to be. All we can do is dream about some of the pick and roll scenarios that would have ensued, or get creative with NBA 2K17.
