The Cleveland Browns were rocked by the news today that Robert Griffin III would be missing at least half the season.

The quarterback suffered a bad shoulder injury in the Browns season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and the team today took the decision to put Griffin on injured reserve, meaning that he has to sit for a minimum of eight games.

This means that the Browns will now have to turn to 37-year-old Josh McCown or rookie Cody Kessler as their new starting quarterback.
