The Madden gods have looked down upon the Denver Broncos and their fans and they have smiled.
That is because EA Sports have finally recognized the talents of Broncos starting quarterback Trevor Siemian and given him a huge boost.
Siemian led the Broncos as they won their Super Bowl rematch against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football - the opening game of the 2016 NFL season.

Siemian has been rewarded for that performance with an overall upgrade of nine points, taking him to a 70 overall. The news was confirmed by the EA Sports Madden twitter account.
While that is good news for Siemian and the Broncos fans who will want to have him leading their virtual team in franchise mode or in online play, the former Northwestern man is still rated lower than his backup, Paxton Lynch.
Despite holding a clipboard in game one, the first-round draft pick is a 74 overall.
Siemian went18-for-26 for 178 yards with one touchdown against two interceptions. The second-year QB also rushed for 20 yards. However, despite those seemingly lacklustre numbers, he was instrumental in getting the Broncos past the more-fancied Panthers.
In other QB upgrades, Cowboys rookie Dak Prescott has gone up to a 74 despite a losing effort against the New York Giants.
