WWE testing the waters on Hulk Hogan return

Hulk Hogan has not appeared in the WWE since he was fired by the company in July 2015 for the leaked sex tape that showed him making racial slurs.

However, there has been speculation that The Hulkster would be brought back to the wrestling promotion once all the heat had died down, and recent news has suggested the company may be testing out the waters for a possible return.

According to Wreslting Inc: "Hogan was featured in one of the most recent WWE Network commercials on WWE TV," something which hasn't been done since they parted ways just over a year ago.

While this isn't solid proof that the former WWE Champion will be returning to WWE programming, there has been a mixed reaction to hearing his voiceovers on the WWE Network, with some wanting him to return because of his legacy, while others don't want him back due to what he has done in the past.

WWE Official Triple H has said previously that the company would be open to having Hogan return at some point, but when that will happen is unknown. Maybe the Hogan voiceovers on the network suggest they're getting closer to opening the conversation line with the Hall of Famer.

To what extent would the promotion use Hogan if he is brought back? With his legacy, you would think in a big role. Perhaps a general manager for one of the shows, but the WWE may be reluctant to use The Hulkster in that manner straight away, and would rather slowly add him back into their programming to begin with.
