Ahead of the official release of FIFA 17 on September 29, EA Sports have been teasing fans with regular updates on player ratings for the new game.
From the best free kick takers and strongest players, to individual team break downs, FIFA players have been able to get a taste of what to expect in the latest instalment.
The latest rankings to be revealed came on Monday afternoon and involve one of the most important, but often overlooked, positions on the game - goalkeepers. Here's the breakdown of the top 20 shot-stoppers FIFA 17 has to offer...
20 - 10
First, the 'keepers who just miss out on the top 10. As you can see below, there are some pretty exceptional shot-stoppers on the list although plenty of fans will question Barcelona's ter Stegen being a full two points behind Steve Mandanda.
20 - Marc-André ter Stegen - Barcelona - 83
19 - Danijel Subašić - AS Monaco - 83
18 - Yann Sommer - Borussia Mönchengladbach - 83
17 - José Reina - Napoli - 84
16 - Rui Patrício - Sporting Lisbon - 84
15 - Joe Hart - Torino - 84
14 - Ralf Fährmann - Schalke 04 - 84
13 - Claudio Bravo - Manchester City - 85
12 - Steve Mandanda - Crystal Palace - 85
11 - Stéphane Ruffier - Saint-Étienne - 85
Now for the best of the best - the brand new top 10...
10 - Keylor Navas - Real Madrid - 85
The Costa Rican established himself as Los Blancos' number one after the departure of Iker Casillas in 2015, and set a Champions League record last season after not conceding a goal in his first eight games in the competition.
9 - Bernd Leno - Bayer Leverkusen - 86
Leno, 24, is Germany's third choice goalkeeper and one of the finest between the sticks in the Bundesliga.
he helped Leverkusen conceded the third fewest goals (40) in the German league last season.
8 - Jan Oblak - Atlético Madrid - 87
The Atletico back four is one of the most impressive in all of Europe, and Diego Simeone's side have an excellent last line of defence too.
At 6ft 2 inches tall and just 23-years-old, Oblak is primed to see his ratings only improve in the years to come. With a 90 rating for handling and 82 for reflexes, he is already one of the best.
7 - Samir Handanovič - Inter Milan - 87
The Slovenian is one of the elder statesmen on this list at 32-years-old, and has been amongst the best 'keepers in Europe for a fair few years now.
His card sees him rated at 86 or over in each of the reflexes, handling, diving and positioning categories.
6 - Petr Cech - Arsenal - 88
Cech continues to impress with Arsenal in the Premier League and has been one of English football's best goalkeepers for over a decade now.
However, although he misses out on the top five in FIFA 17, even his biggest fans would probably accept he isn't quite at the top tear at this late stage in his career.
5 - Gianluigi Buffon - Juventus - 88
Another example of an Italian player escaping the clutches of father time, Buffon proved he is still amongst the game's best during Italy's impressive displays at Euro 2016.
Still Juve's number one, there are few more ominous sights for strikers than seeing Buffon standing between them and the goal.
4 - Hugo Lloris - Tottenham - 88
The second Premier League 'keeper in the top 10, Lloris is an assured pair of hands between the sticks at White Hart Lane.
A 90 rating in reflexes and 87 for diving and handling will also make him a popular choice in FIFA's Ultimate Team mode.
3 - Thibaut Courtois - Chelsea - 89
One point off the heralded 90 mark, Courtois also just misses out on being the Premier League's top-rated 'keeper.
His talents have meant a fairly seamless transition at Chelsea as the Stamford Bridge club replaced the ageing Cech. And he is rated one point ahead of his former teammate.
2 - David De Gea - Manchester United - 90
Tested more than he would have liked in recent seasons at Old Trafford, De Gea has passed most of them with flying colours.
Undoubtedly at the very top table in terms of goalkeeping talent right now, the Spaniard is still a full two points behind his rival for the honour of the game's very best.
1 - Manuel Neuer - Bayern Munich - 92
Was it really ever going to be anyone else at the top of this list?
The German dominates in all categories in real life, and his FIFA 17 card reflects that. His speed rating of 60 is the only category in which the Bayern star comes in below 89.
