"Reminder - perhaps some people do not feel respect for me because I am black.

However, the comments have not gone down with the club and Eto'o has been frozen out from the first team until stated otherwise according to a statement released on the club website.
The 35-year-old has certainly enjoyed a glistening career, with successful spells in Spain, Italy, and England.
