Despite winning the NBA championship, the Cleveland Cavaliers are projected to win ten fewer games than the Golden State Warriors after Las Vegas released their wins forecasts for the 2016/17.

Having finished the previous campaign with a 73-9 record, the Dubs are out in front again at 66.5.

The Cavaliers are joined by the San Antonio Spurs who, despite losing Tim Duncan, are tipped to win around 55.5 times during the regular season. The L.A. Clippers are at 53.5.

There is only one other franchise with over 50, and surprisingly the Boston Celtics (51.5) have been favoured over the Toronto Raptors (49.5) despite the Canadian franchise finishing second in the east last season.

Utah are one of the biggest risers. Having missed on the playoffs - finishing ninth in the Western Conference - they are expected to win around 47.5 games.

At the other end of the scale, the Brooklyn Nets are at just 20.5 wins while the L.A. Lakers prop up the west on 24.5.

Phoenix (26.5), Sacramento (32.5), Denver (34.5) and New Orleans (36.5) make up the lowest five from the west while the east consists of the Nets, alongside Philadelphia (27.5), Orlando (36.5), Miami (36.5) and New York (38.5).
