Cody Rhodes is following in his wife's footsteps and will be joining TNA.

The 31-year-old left World Wrestling Entertainment earlier this year, and a vignette has been released by TNA Wrestling's Twitter account promoting the arrival of Cody Rhodes.

It was a sour ending in WWE for the son of Dusty Rhodes, as he left as Stardust, a gimmick that he never truly got on board with and a gimmick that never really took off.

In fact, the only meaningful feud Stardust had was with actor Stephen Amell, despite the initial talks being Stardust vs Goldust, a feud that never took place.

During his career with WWE, Rhodes had several different gimmicks, none of them really taking off for the third-generation superstar.

However, he enjoyed relative success with the company, winning the Intercontinental Championship, the WWE Tag Team Championships, and the World Tag Team Championships.

Rhodes becomes just another name to swap WWE with TNA, following in the footsteps of; The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boys, Damien Sandow, Drew McIntyre, and many, many more.

Rhodes' official TNA debut will take place at the TNA Bound For Glory pay-per-view on October 2, but a vignette of him has been shown recently hyping his arrival.

In the video, Rhodes cut a promo and stated how he wanted to put the past behind him and create his own future. Dressed in smart attire, Rhodes was videoed walking to a car, before stating that he's heading for Bound For Glory.

You can see the vignette below.

It may be a case of what could have been with Rhodes in the WWE, but he's clearly desperate to put the past behind him.
