What made the three points all the more satisfying proved the nature of the win. The Gunners simply swept away their London rivals in a 3-0 result that saw Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil find the net.
However, one supporter in particular who has been soaking up the glory has proven Piers Morgan. Cesc Fabregas in particular has proven a subject of Morgan’s tweets and, unsurprisingly, they’re far from complimentary.

Amid all the glittering performances produced by Arsenal players, it must be remembered that they were dealt a huge favour by Chelsea’s stuttering stars.
One such stagnant outing proved that of Fabregas. The Spanish midfielder was making his first Premier League start of the season and didn’t exactly make the best impression.
On his return to the Emirates, Fabregas lasted just 55 minutes before being subbed off for ex-Bolton Wanderers fullback Marcos Alonso of all people.
Considering the scoreline at the time of the move, not only did it prove an odd decision, but a prominent kick in the teeth for the departing Fabregas. This particular incident was found rather amusing by Morgan.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, the ex-Britain’s Got Talent judge was rather vocal in his support for Arsenal. This was perhaps no more apparent than the posting of a picture of him and the Dalai Lama laughing hysterically upon the Gunners assuming a 3-0 lead.
Nevertheless, Fabregas remained a common theme given his history with the club. It appears Morgan is yet to forgive the ex-Gunner for making his move to Chelsea back in 2014.
The pick of the 51-year-old’s Fabregas mocking tweets can be seen below:
Given how much of an asset the Spaniard proved during his Arsenal spell, such comments prove rather harsh. However, fresh off the back of victory, supporters seem to be enjoying each and every tweet.
After all, given Arsenal’s torrid recent record against Chelsea, it’s hard to blame the fans for letting off steam having finally secured a win. Moreover, if anyone was to take this to the extreme, let’s be honest, it was always going to be Morgan.
