Mesut Ozil produced a magnificent no-look pass against Chelsea

Mesut Ozil, like the rest of his Arsenal teammates, enjoyed himself against Chelsea on Saturday evening.

The Germany international was in majestic form for the Gunners and fully deserved his goal in the 3-0 victory.

Ozil was playing with such confidence, particularly in the minutes after scoring his goal, that he even managed to pull off a pretty impressive no-look pass. (Scroll down this page to watch the video).

The 27-year-old dribbled past Cesar Azpilicueta before turning his head and passing the ball straight to Alexis Sanchez, leaving Nemanja Matic wondering what had just happened.

Arsene Wenger and the rest of the Arsenal bench had front row seats for Ozil’s moment of magic and no doubt they, like the Gunners’ supporters, all enjoyed it too - even if the manager sat there stony-faced.

Ozil pleased to silence Arsenal doubters

Ozil was pleased that this performance silenced Arsenal’s doubters. Few expected Wenger’s men to turn Antonio Conte’s side over in such an impressive manner.

"Many so-called experts had already written us off after the second matchday," Ozil told Goal, per ESPN. "But a Premier League season is long and we're currently improving from game to game.

"In the first half we played exactly the kind of football we want to play -- quick combinations so that our opponents didn't even get the chance to tackle."

Ozil now hopes Arsenal can produce a similar performance against Basel in the Champions League this week.

"All the more, we have proved now that this wasn't a one-off and we'll have to perform equally as well against Basel," he added. "If our fans support us on Wednesday like they did today we'll be in the best conditions to play."
